Once again, the Tennessee FCCLA State Officers, in conjunction with the Tennessee HOSA State Officers, will host the 2019 Leadership Camp Oct. 4-6 at Camp Widjiwagan in Nashville, TN. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the qualities of leadership and how pieces of leadership teams can be enhanced to form a stronger chapter and member experience.

All chapters are encouraged to only register  members interested in enhancing or building their leadership abilities. EVERY Leadership Camp attendee will be required to register for a “track.” Camp attendance is limited to only 150 attendees! Make sure to register early!

​$130 
Includes two nights lodging, five meals,
t-shirt, supplies/materials, activities, and camp
operating costs.

Registration Deadline:  Sept. 10, 2019

Camp Activities
All chapters are encouraged to register members interested in enhancing or building their leadership abilities. EVERY Leadership Camp attendee will be required to register for a “track.” Students will be able to choose from the following tracks:
  • The Social Stream
  • Going Green for Leadership
  • Blown Away by Leadership
  • Get Fired Up for Leadership
In addition, all Leadership Camp attendees will have the opportunity to participate in chapter specific workshops, together as chapter leaders, to learn how to build their own leadership bond, create their own leadership toolbox, and enhance their team dynamic and communication style.

Leadership Camp will also feature opportunities to climb the "Alpine Tower," glide across the camp on a zip line, fun night activities, and much more!

Get Fired up for leadership

Do you have what it takes to advocate for your organization? In this workshop, you will learn to ‘spread the fire of leadership’ through advocacy. With workshops on increasing confidence, building connections, learning communication skills, and using your personal strengths to contribute to your team, this track will lead you down the right path in the leadership world!
Blown away by leadership

Be ready to be ‘blown away with leadership!’ In this track, you will gain insight into what true teamwork should look like. You will learn the importance of working together and communicating  effectively, even when the situation may be challenging. This workshop will help you understand what really makes a great leader, and an overall excellent team! ​
The social stream

We hope you are ready to float down the ‘social stream’ because this track will take you on an adventure! In this workshop, be prepared to fully dive in on how to have the perfect social media for your organization. We will teach members how to communicate effectively within their teams, on a professional level, or in an everyday conversation!
Going green for leadership

Are you ready to ‘Go Green?’ This track is all about learning how money moves and how to make your chapter financially successful.  With workshops about how to get the best bang for your buck, not go into debt, and put the FUN in fundraising, you will be the mastermind behind cracking any financial dilemma! ​Let’s not forget about service projects!! This workshop will give you the tools you need to successfully support your organization's service project!
