Member Awards

Tennessee FCCLA is proud to recognize the outstanding student members who make a meaningful impact within their chapters and communities. Each year, Tennessee FCCLA celebrates members who go above and beyond in their leadership, service, and commitment to FCCLA. These awards highlight students who exemplify FCCLA’s mission and values while helping strengthen their chapters and inspire others across the state. Selected recipients will be recognized at the State Leadership Conference.

Foundation of Family

The Foundation of Family Award goes to the student who makes their chapter, and those around them, feel like they are at home. FCCLA’s creed speaks about homes and what they should resemble: homes full of truth, love, security, faith, and everything good and fair. This student is known for their welcoming and loving nature, someone who truly harnesses commitment to make everyone included. This student is just and truthful in everything they do and encompasses all that FCCLA was built upon in 1945. This student is full of compassion and guidance to all those they come into contact with, and always offers a smile on their face. This FCCLA member makes you envision a world full of joy and harmony when they enter a room. This student is a silent leader who works to care for others, bring people together, and include everyone.

Career Connected

The Career Connected Award is given to an individual who embodies the purpose of Career Connection by actively exploring career pathways, understanding workplace expectations, and building confidence to navigate future career decisions with intention. They explore personal interests, strengths, and goals while connecting them to future career possibilities. Through involvement in the Career Connection program, this member has demonstrated a strong commitment to self-discovery and professional growth. This FCCLA member has a clear understanding of balancing responsibilities across careers, families, and communities and actively develops skills needed to navigate the workplace and pursue employment opportunities. Their dedication to preparing for life beyond the classroom truly reflects the purpose of the FCCLA Career Connected Award.

Light of Leadership

The Light of Leadership award is given to a student who exemplifies the core values of leadership, service, and dedication. They actively engage in activities and serve as a positive influence within their chapter, school, and community by demonstrating strong leadership skills and a genuine commitment to service. They take initiative, support and uplift others, and represent the FCCLA mission through their actions and attitude. With a passion for personal growth and a drive to make a lasting impact, the recipient of the Light of Leadership Award shines brightly in everything they do, illuminating the path for others to follow.

All-Star Member

The All-Star Member Award recognizes an outstanding FCCLA member who has worked tirelessly to exemplify leadership, initiative, and service at the chapter and state level. All STAR Member Award recipients serve as role models in their chapters and beyond with excellent character, passion, and teamwork. Through their All-Star-caliber involvement, these members represent Tennessee FCCLA ideals and missions to the fullest.
